A boss is someone who supervises and directs employees, and this individual may be a big asset or an enormous problem in any organization. If your boss motivates and encourages then your productivity and morale will usually increase. If the opposite techniques and methods are used then this can actually harm the morale and productivity of the employees. A good boss also knows when to lead and when to step aside, letting the employee take the lead instead.
