He who makes a beast of himself gets rid of the pain of being a man meaning if you can build a particular state of mind to be decisive, hardworking, and determined to achieve something, you can overcome any distressing sensation.

The word beast here refers to a person in a positive way. To be a beast means to be extremely focused on achieving something while sacrificing precious moments of your life.  Undoubtedly, such a person is to be successful. There are situations in life that brought pains and regret, and as a result, stop you from achieving something meaningful. The pain of being a man exists within the sphere of the heart. The heart houses emotions, compassions, and mental suffering which no man can live without while alive. Everyone is bound to experience dilemmas of life. No matter how good or highly intellectual you are, it only when you are 100% willing and prepared to get rid of emotions or pains associated with compassion and empathy that’s when a man can be free, bring out the best of him, and overcome every hurdle of life.

To be human comes with a price. Despite the fact life can be an awesome place, we face unusual situations associated with pain. But we can still overcome them and be free if only we can clamp down the pain of being a man. To be a beast isn’t bad but it only makes you strong to overcome life experiences.
