Being lonely is not a state of mind that is easy for anyone to bear. Human beings are social by nature, and people have sought out companionship from their earliest days on the planet. If a person has no social contacts or close relationships then life can become very difficult. Being lonely can lead to depression and a lower sense of self worth. If you are lonely then you need to get out and widen your social circle. Volunteer, help others, and spend time making life better instead of focusing on your status.
