Risk is the price you pay for opportunity, meaning you can never succeed if you are never willing to take risks. This does not mean that you should make foolish decisions or leap without looking, but after a careful risk versus reward analysis it is important to identify risks that are acceptable in life. You could get hit by a passing meteorite, catch Covid-19, or have something else happen at any point in your life. There are no guarantees in life, and it is what you make it. You can refuse to take any risks, but then you will never have any opportunities either.

Every day is packed full of opportunities when you know how to recognize them and you are willing to step outside of your comfort zone and take a little risk. Things could end badly, but you could also succeed beyond your wildest dreams too. Everyone is different, and an acceptable risk for you may not be viewed as acceptable to someone else. Make it a point each day to look for any opportunity, and then evaluate whether this involves risks which are acceptable to you. If the answer is yes then go for it.
