Being busy is one method that many use to cope with negative feelings. If you are continuously busy then you do not have time to dwell on things. Staying active and on the go is important, but you also need balance between your work and home life. Being busy in a productive manner is a virtue, but being busy just for the sake of movement should be avoided. Look at what you are doing and determine if the task is necessary of if it is just busy work undertaken to help you avoid thinking or feeling.
