If someone doesn’t appreciate your presence, make them appreciate your absence.
Appreciation is typically craved by most humans. We all want others to appreciate what we do and how we contribute. When appreciation is given for the right reasons the effect can start a dramatic change for good, but when someone is appreciated for the wrong things this will reinforce negative behaviors instead. Showing appreciation can be just as rewarding as receiving it, and this can start a productive cycle that makes people better and that helps everyone involved. True appreciation is never given by someone who expects something in return and is never used in exchange for leverage of any type. If you expect something then you are not actually showing your appreciation for the individual but are actually taking advantage of them instead.
If someone doesn’t appreciate your presence, make them appreciate your absence.
Friendship isn't about who you've known the longest. It's about who came and never left your side.
A person who feels appreciated will always do more than expected.
Sometimes we don't realize the blessings we have until we no longer have them.
Some people will never understand the sacrifices you're making for them.
