When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us. The past is finished and can not be relived. When one opportunity or relationship ends the door opens for something else, something that may be better that what you have lost. If you are spending your time looking back then you will miss out on what could be in your future. Don't regret the ending that the closed door represents but make sure that you look at the possibilities that the newly opened door offers you. Many people miss out on terrific possibilities because they are blinded by what has been rather than looking at what could be. An opened door could lead anywhere. If you are not willing to take a leap of faith or to consider what could happen then you will always be stuck in the past and can never truly live in the moment. This could cause you to miss out one the greatest things in life, and at the end you could look back and regret your shortsightedness because it cost you dearly.
