Trust takes years to build, seconds to break, and forever to repair, meaning building trust in a person can take time, but once that trust is gone, it becomes very difficult to rebuild again.

Trust is one of the strongholds of every business, family, office, government, or anything. There is a strong presence of loyalty where trust exists, making it more valuable than power or monetary items. When you trust someone or someone trusts you, it takes a lot of time and effort to do so. In as much you might trust someone so deeply, you can still get broken just within seconds. When a person trusts you, prove to them that you are worthy of their choice and decision. For instance, some couples or dating partners have once developed trust for one another, but maybe due to cheating or unsincerity, that trust seems not to exist anymore. Despite the fact that they might pinpoint their mistakes and make corrections; it can be extremely difficult to build trust due to past memory.

Some individuals have failed to realize that trust cannot be given except earned. And it takes a person who stands to be trustworthy to achieve it. You might think someone saying the word “I trust you” means they do. But the answer is NO! Their action will tell you. Finally, you must know that trust cannot be demanded except when you are always truthful to a person. No matter the number of years it takes to build up trust in any relationship, such as business, family, etc., it can be broken within seconds and can take forever to repair. In spite of that, it can never be the same as it used to be initially.
