In case no one told you today: You’re beautiful. You’re loved. You’re needed. You’re alive for a reason. You’re stronger than you think. You’re going to get through this. I’m glad you’re alive. Don’t give up. This means that though it is very easy to feel unloved, not needed or useful, but you are always more important than you think.
It is easy to deny but every other day we struggle with a sense of unworthiness either with who we are or what is to come. When these feelings come, ensure they don't weigh you down. Try to keep moving steadily. Most of the time, different things make you think about yourself less than you are. However, one of the ways to prevent this from happening is to surround yourself with people who love you and ready to hold your hands when the going gets tough. People that do not mind telling you time and again how loved, strong and beautiful you are. Stay away from people who feel bad about yourself. Note that being corrected is not a way to make you feel less loved or weak. So, find solace in correction and advice. Try to weigh words and if you feel confused, seek a third party.
Finally, you do not have to wait for anyone to tell you anything. Intentionally build an atmosphere of positivity for yourself. Talk to yourself with spoken and written words. Put up kind words on your walls. Say your affirmations. Love yourself first.
