A true gentleman may quickly become the center of attention but he will never take his eyes off his own lady, no matter how many other women are competing to get his attention. There are many men who try to play the game, drawing in many women and treating each like they are disposable and interchangeable. A real gentleman would never do this no matter how high his popularity may be with others or how attractive he is to the opposite sex. A real man who has been raised properly and taught to act like a gentleman understands that respect for his lady is a top priority, and that this reflects well on him as well.

Today many young men are not taught what a true gentleman really is, and these young adults think that dating is a numbers game. Being disrespectful by looking at other women, cheating, and hurting the woman that they love is not what a gentleman does. Respect and dignity is what makes a real man, and if this is missing then the man is immature and not really ready for a serious relationship that can last. A gentleman attracts the attention of many, but only has eyes for his own lady. This is what sets him apart from immature boys, and what makes him so attractive to others. Women may try to get his notice in order to steal him away but a true man will not fall for this, they will be so focused on their own lady that they do not notice what everyone else is doing.
