Ethics is knowing the difference between what you have a right to do and what is right to do
Ethics are rules or conduct codes that outline the moral guidelines that must be followed. In medicine it is against the ethics of the medical code to experiment on patients without their consent. In college professors should uphold a standard of ethics that includes not sleeping with the students and not changing a grade based on anything other than the academic work of a student.
Ethics is knowing the difference between what you have a right to do and what is right to do
for the mere act of thinking a course expedient, when it is morally wrong, is demoralizing
If your morals make you dreary, depend upon it, they are wrong
To have a right to do a thing is not at all the same as to be right in doing it
