Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. This is a natural human process that can not be avoided. If you think something before long you will voice these thoughts, and eventually you will act on them. It may not be possible to fully control your thoughts but you can redirect them to a more positive frame. When you find yourself with negative thoughts stop and think of something positive instead. Over time this training will help you maintain a positive mindset and ensure that any negative thoughts are quickly banished before they can be spoken or acted on. We all have bad days, times when everything seems to go wrong and our minds are filled with thoughts that are more negative than positive. This is when you need to be most careful because you are most likely to say or do something that you may regret later on. When you redirect your thoughts to the positive side every day any words or actions that do come about will be ones that have a good impact and not something that will hurt others or drag them down. You can not stop a negative thought from forming but you can avoid dwelling on it so that it turns into negative words and action.
