In the USA and many other countries the middle class is the backbone of society and the group which is not wealthy but that lives above the poverty level. Middle class quotes show that the standard of living for this class today is not what it used to be thanks to inflation, the economy, and indecisive action by the government. The middle class is the class that is up and coming, and the group that generally has enough to live comfortably as long as they are not wasteful and they do not spend too much.
