Agreeing with someone just to avoid an argument or hard feelings is the easy way out but it may not always be the best course of action. If you truly care about someone or something then you may need to sacrifice agreement in order to say something that is painful but true. Offering agreement in order to appease someone rather than truly agreeing with what they say or do is a mistake. You should stand for your principles even if that means creating some friction along the way because you are not in agreement. At times you may feel like the lone voice in the crowd, but when you stand against evil or cruelty this single voice is enough to turn the tide at times. Many pretended agreement with Hitler while secretly believing him wrong, and millions died because many good citizens did not speak out against Nazi Germany.
