Tough times don't last, tough people do. Life can be harsh at times and we all go through some tough experiences and situations. You can either toughen up or you can lay down and give up. Tough times are a test of strength and fortitude, the same way that a weight lifter struggles to lift increasing amounts but keeps trying. Just like physical strength your mental strength develops over time as you experience hard times and tough situations. You will come out stronger on the other end and you will benefit even if it doesn't seem like it when things are rough.
