Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has. The American Revolution was started by a small group of citizens who were committed to the cause of freedom, defeating the much larger British army and taking their freedom back. When a large group tries to change things people tend to get in the way, with disagreements and different visions of what the outcome should be. This can cause chaos instead of bringing about the change that is desired. When people who are committed come together in small groups it is easier to reach a consensus and avoid the power struggles that always occur when many people try to do something together. History has shown that change in the world starts with a small group of people who are committed to this change and who are willing to sacrifice everything they hold dear to achieve it.
