Many of us are so focused on how to make a living and how to become rich and successful and we think that by having a job that is secure or by becoming rich and attaining our goals; achieving our dreams will make us feel happy, peaceful and successful. Think again...You can have all the money in the world but if you are too afraid to cross the streets because the crime rate is rising, than what good your money will do? You can have a great business going on, but what good is it going to do if there are homeless that are not benefiting from your success. You are going to tell me I started from the bottom and I worked hard to get where I am, why should I care about the homeless or the poor. Well first of all, God blessed you and stood by your side to succeed for a reason. For you to help out and clean your environment. It's not just for you to enjoy the material things, but for you to give a hand to the ones that are not as strong as you are, to help out, to reach out, and to inspire others. Believe me when I say that you don't need to beat the top and already successful to help your neighbor. As you are succeeding, take some with you to be self-sufficient also, be a mentor to others... don't wait. I remember a guy who could afford an extra turkey for thanksgiving and leaving it at a door of a poor family. After a few years, he could afford more than one extra turkey to give away until he had his own non profit organization where he can feed more than one family. The more God bless you with your life, the more you should give to the less fortunate..the more God will give you, it may not only be in the shape of money, but He may give you more wisdom, more love to give, more happiness, more peace and you will feel satisfied that you are making a difference in people's lives. We are all responsible of making this planet a better place to live in, let's join our skills and abilities to help out and make a difference.
