If you have cancer then your death does not mean that you lost to cancer and the disease won. You beat cancer with the life that you live, the how and why as well as the manner involved. Cancer wins if you are diagnosed and you give up the fight, but when you live every moment that you have left to the fullest and you have the best life possible under the circumstances then you may lose your life at the end but you did not let cancer beat you down and win. A cancer diagnosis can cause depression, anger, and many other negative emotions, but these will not change anything. Fighting back and continuing to live even while you undergo treatment or wait for the end to come shows courage and strength that is inspiring and admirable.
Many people make the mistake of thinking that dying from cancer means losing the battle and that the disease wins, but that is not true. How you live the rest of your days and why you continue to fight show that you may be physically dying but that your spirit and strength will continue without weakening. We all die eventually, and the manner that you live your life determines whether you win or lose not the final outcome. Live a life that is positive, help others when you can, and never give in to fear no matter how bad things may seem. You can be a winner even if you end up dying from cancer as long as your life was meaningful.
