The pain that you have been feeling can’t be compared to the joy that is coming! Romans 8:18. Meaning that this life can be painful but once you pass on then you will be rewarded with joy beyond your greatest expectations. This life is the toil, and what comes after is the reward for everything that you have suffered until then. Sometimes a good parent must discipline a child to teach them right from wrong and to correct misbehavior but this is done out of love and not to be hurtful or cruel. The pain that we feel in life is short compared to an eternity of joy and peace no matter how painful something is.

Consider this life the test, and the pain that you feel at times is part of that test. Pain can break you or it can make you stronger depending on how you approach and manage it. After this life has ended there will be no more pain, only bliss and contentment. This is the promise that god has made to everyone who passes on and enters the gates of heaven. A lifetime of pain will seem like the blink of an eye once this time comes, and every second spent on earth will be worth it.
