The only disability in life is a bad attitude. Physical restrictions and handicaps may slow you down but a positive mental attitude can overcome these limitations if you are determined enough. A bad attitude can hold back even the most able bodied person and keep them from ever achieving success or happiness. Your attitude and outlook will determine what kind of life you have and what you make of yourself. If you have a bad attitude then you are at a disadvantage regardless of whether you are physically fit or not because your mental mindset is a negative one. This will make you view any situation from the worst possible angle, always looking for the downside and never seeing the benefits and blessings that you have.

Someone who has a bad attitude is someone that no one else wants to be around unless they are also a negative person. When you look at the joys and blessings that god has given you and focus on these aspects instead of looking for something bad you will be surprised at how much you truly have to be grateful for. Your life is a gift from the Lord and it should be cherished and appreciated. Every day you should remember the people who have far less than you do and be thankful for what you have. Make an effort to help others instead of always focusing on yourself or what you think your life is lacking. If you have a bad attitude you are worse off than someone who is missing a limb or who has a mental deficiency but who can still experience the joy and wonder that life offers each day.
