Everything in life must end, even life itself when we die, and our time on this earth is short. Instead of being filled with sadness and regret when something ends we should feel joy that we had the experience in the first place. We can look back at what has ended and feel a sense of loss because it is gone or we can look back and smile because we had the chance to live in the moment while it happened. Relationships often end because two people grow apart as they get older, and they no longer share the same common goals and interests any more. The ending of the relationship does not take away all of the time spend together and the happy moments that were shared as a couple.
When something ends it is important to stay positive and to look at how your life was enriched because you had the experience in the first place. You become the person that you are through both good and bad experiences that you have had in your life. Even an ending can be joyful because every ending is a new beginning, with new opportunities and possibilities that would have been missed otherwise. Life is a journey that keeps moving forward. Staying in the past or feeling regret because something ends will only hold you back and keep you from finding the happiness that you deserve. Be grateful for the relationship or experience even though it may not have turned out the way that you expected because you learned important lessons as a result.
