Almost everyone will love to live an excellent life, but sometimes we get to experience different situations that make life to be a horrible place. But whatever situation we find ourselves we need to have trust in God.
To build trust in God may sound easy, but when you experience the unusual aspect of life, whereby all hope seems to be gone, will you still trust God in that situation? Or think of other alternatives?
The benefits of trusting God is more than human imagination. Few people claim to trust God and when their trust is tested, they do not give up. For instance, Job in the Bible. He was a wealthy man who believed in God. When his trust and faith were tested, he lost everything in life yet he trusted God so much. And later he regained more than anyone could have imagined. No matter the situation put all your trust in God for guidance and direction.
However, here in this article is ten benefits on how trusting God can transform your life,
1. It creates a life of dependency.
Everyone has the freedom to choose what’s best in life but we were not created to be independent of God. Instead, we are created to live a life of dependency. trusting and living by His words. When you trust in God, He will not leave you to be a wandering man trying to figure things, especially when you are finding it difficult to overcome a challenging situation.
2. Trust invites the ultimate helper.
The holy spirit is the ultimate helper in any situation. When you trust God, the gift of the holy spirit will locate you and be your helper to conquer every barrier on your path.
Jesus was so generous to give us a precious gift which is the Holy Spirit, for only those who believe and trust in Him. In John 14:26, ” But the helper, the holy spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.” Jesus knew we need a helper because of the ups and downs of the world. But only when we trust in God, the ultimate helper will be with us and effectively guide us.
3. Trust builds the spirit of adherence.
God loves obedience. As a believer, when you accept God’s instructions and commandments, your life will go smoothly in accordance with His plan. But how do you get that spirit of adherence? It is only when you truly trust God and believe in His plan that’s when you can have the spirit of adherence.
When God tells you to do something without your understanding, still trust him just like Abraham. And when you live an obedient life, blessings will be unlimited.
4.Trust gives you spiritual Eyes to see things differently
The way God sees things is totally different from the way we see things. To see things just like God, first of all, we have to trust God, then ask Him for eyes to see things the way He does.
According to Isaiah 55:8-9, “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts” says the Lord.” And my ways are far beyond anything g you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts are higher than your thoughts.”
God knows every chapter of our life, therefore we have to trust him and his timing. And we can only understand his timing when we have the spiritual eyes to see how things are happening.
5. Trust improves your personality
To live a worthy life that pleases God, we need to trust Him. When we wholeheartedly trust God, we will receive a life full of good fruits (see Colossians 1:10). These good fruits will always attract abundance of blessings to our lives when God sees how much we rely upon and trust him in everything we do in lif
