Then what prayer or what supplication so ever shall be made of any man, or of all thy people Israel, when every one shall know his own sore and his own grief, and shall spread forth his hands in this house. (2 Chronicles 6:29)
Judaism is the religion, guiding principles, and philosophies that guide Jewish individuals. Judaism quotes are very common, and these show that Jews have contributed significantly to the culture and learning of mankind. You may be born into Judaism or you may marry into this religion, and there are a number of jokes about Jewish mothers who are over protective and who are difficult to deal with but these are typically false and are harmful stereotypes. During WWII Judaism meant an almost automatic death sentence for many who practice this religion. The focus of Judaism is the sovereign state of Israel, which is considered the Jewish homeland and home to the holiest city in the world, Jerusalem. The practice of Judaism has been going on for over 3,000 years and it is still strong today.
