Tell Them You Love Them And Treasure Every Moment. Life is Too Short.

Added Date - Feb 4, 2020

Kobe Bryant was a Lakers legend and NBA star, and his tragic death brings home the fact that no one is immortal. Kobe was one of nine people aboard the helicopter that crashed last week. One of the other victims was Gianna Bryant, Kobe's 13 year old daughter. The helicopter accident just shows how fast everything can change, and that life is very unpredictable. We always take tomorrow for granted but tomorrow may never come. Treat each and every day as if it is your last one on earth because it could be.

Love is what makes this world worth living. Often we get caught up in the rush and bustle of life and do not take the time to show those that we love just how much they mean to us. The future is uncertain so make sure that you tell and show the people that you love just how you feel. The world came together to show support and comfort each other over the loss of Kobe Bryant, and it was an incredible outpouring from around the globe. This tragedy led to people saying how much they loved their families and friends, and it showed us that life can change in an instant. Prayers to the families who lost one or more loved ones in the helicopter crash.

Kobe Bryant's wife Vanessa Bryant has posted a touching tribute on Facebook, and even in her grief over the loss of her husband and daughter she is thinking of others.

“My girls and I want to thank the millions of people who’ve shown support and love during this horrific time. Thank you for all the prayers. We definitely need them. We are completely devastated by the sudden loss of my adoring husband, Kobe — the amazing father of our children; and my beautiful, sweet Gianna — a loving, thoughtful, and wonderful daughter, and amazing sister to Natalia, Bianka, and Capri.

We are also devastated for the families who lost their loved ones on Sunday, and we share in their grief intimately.

There aren’t enough words to describe our pain right now. I take comfort in knowing that Kobe and Gigi both knew that they were so deeply loved. We were so incredibly blessed to have them in our lives. I wish they were here with us forever. They were our beautiful blessings taken from us too soon.
I’m not sure what our lives hold beyond today, and it’s impossible to imagine life without them. But we wake up each day, trying to keep pushing because Kobe, and our baby girl, Gigi, are shining on us to light the way. Our love for them is endless — and that’s to say, immeasurable. I just wish I could hug them, kiss them and bless them. Have them here with us, forever.

Thank you for sharing your joy, your grief and your support with us. We ask that you grant us the respect and privacy we will need to navigate this new reality.
